Mark Campion Group Head of Wellbeing and Occupational Health at Capita
“We have been working with Mark and his team now for well over a year, helping us tackle a variety of challenges ranging from our senior leadership team through to colleagues on the ground working in some mentally demanding roles. The ability of Strategic Wellbeing to adapt to our needs is what makes the real difference, with colleagues better understanding concepts when explained in the context of the situations they face. Turning the theory into practical ways to help ensures our colleagues can use what they learn to really make an impact, which is the feedback we get every time. I would thoroughly recommend Strategic Wellbeing and look forward to working with them further in the future.”

University Of London
Gerardina Zeccola Head of Health & Safety at University of London
“The University of London is committed to staff mental health and wellbeing. With Mark and his team, we developed a three tiered strategic, whole of organisation program. Each program’s content was tailored to match their role and responsibility of the management level and to build each tiers’ understanding of the role they played in managing staff mental health. Sessions included useful information and practical tips. As part of the program, an informative report was provided with a good summary of issues discussed, an analysis of the survey responses and recommendations for the next steps. The approach was holistic and well targeted. I would recommend Mark and his competent team to help any university who values their staff and the benefits of managing mental health in their organisation.“

The Supreme Court
Yasmin Rahman, HR Manager at The Supreme Court
“Claudia delivered Navigating Uncertainty through Resilience webinars for the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, shortly after the January 2021 lockdown announcement. All staff attending webinars were put at ease by Claudia’s relaxed, professional and calm manner. She was very open when she described her own personal, lived experiences and this led to staff freely talking about their own experiences and feelings. Claudia made the session interactive and gave the group opportunities for private, self-reflection as well. She used a variety of methods to engage with the attendees and the webinar flowed smoothly and left attendees feeling renewed. Everyone was very impressed by Claudia’s knowledge and professionalism, so much so that we have asked her to deliver further sessions later this year. Claudia has dealt with our training needs with flexibility and sensitivity, taking the time to understand what our organisation really needs. She is incredibly efficient and responds to messages and post-meetings swiftly, with all the information that we require, and is a genuinely pleasant person to work with.”

Hiscox
Hazel Spain, Head of L&D at Hiscox
“Strategic Wellbeing has been a fabulous partner to work with and has provided a number of mental health training sessions and presentations over the last couple of years for our staff and managers at Hiscox. Their easy to refer to and use frameworks have helped our staff to help themselves and each other. The BALANCE framework has been specifically easy to implement and thier presentations on Burnout complimented our suite of wellness focused initiatives we gave to staff during 2021. Highly recommended, experts in mental health, personable and engaging.”

Dorchester Collection
Emma Jayne, Director of People and Culture – The Dorchester Hotel and 45 Park Lane
“We were so delighted to meet Mark and Ruth through the mental health training. We learnt so much from them in the 2-day programme and it really has resonated with us because of their open and easy to understand way of training. They often gave personal examples to really highlight important issues to us and I really admire them for this, putting a personal touch to a difficult subject can bring much meaning and resonation to it. They are both so knowledgeable about the wide range of Mental Health topics they covered, we really learnt much more than we had anticipated from them. As a team we are excited to go forward together to learn more about mental health to support our 850 team members in our 2 London hotels. Thank you to Strategic Wellbeing for supporting our desire to learn more about this important subject…we were all so proud to receive our certifications.”

EDF Energy
Sue Chapple, Head of Revenue Management, EDF Energy
“Mark developed and ran a hugely successful and beneficial transactional analysis (TA) workshops. We had decided to do this after a period of restructuring and consolidation across the business. This approach was fabulous in helping individuals get a better understanding of their own and other’s behaviour – especially in interpersonal relationships. Mark made the complex theory accessible and fun, he is observant, approachable and insightful. The TA language he made available – is still in use across the teams today.“

Sage Publishing
Sophie Hughes – Head of Learning and Development, Sage Publishing
“We partnered with Mark and the Strategic Wellbeing team to develop our mental health and wellbeing curriculum across SAGE UK. They provided expert consultation around our policy development and created a comprehensive mental health programme to ensure our managers and employees were equipped and comfortable having conversations around mental health. Mark and the team are incredibly skilled at creating a safe space and shining a light on potentially difficult and challenging content in a way that is easy to digest, engaging and that makes an impact. As a result we are seeing a significant difference, mental health conversations have become more normalised and our employees feel their wellbeing is being prioritised. I would highly recommend the Strategic Wellbeing team, they are experts in their field and they continue to be a valued partner of SAGE Publishing.“

Barn Wood
Jennie Curtis, Head of People at Barnwood Trust
“As a disability and mental health charity its incredibly important to us that we support our Managers and Employees to understand and support mental health challenges, both in the workplace and in the work we do. I first met Mark Hashimi on a mental health conference back in 2018. To this day he is the only presenter I remember from the event and I knew we had to work with him. Since then Mark and the team have helped us develop our mental health policy, programme and initiatives within the Trust. ¼ of all our staff and all of our team Heads are now trained mental health first aiders through Strategic Wellbeing and they continue to advise them by facilitating some of our peer support sessions. They also supported us through webinar workshops during the Pandemic helping us navigate working from home and managing employee wellbeing remotely. Strategic Wellbeing are fantastic at removing barriers to having conversations about mental health, have a down to earth and approachable style and are incredibly knowledgeable. They have undoubtedly left our team more confident.“

“Mark, from Strategic Wellbeing Ltd, came to speak to our Unit on ‘beating burnout’, with fantastic results. The talk provided helpful and tangible ideas that colleagues could take away and that have since been implemented into several teams, such as ways to ‘temperature check’ and open conversations up around wellbeing. Mark’s presentation style is easy to follow, relatable and engaging and was especially well adapted to a virtual platform. The Unit was able to participate actively using the chat bar and response buttons meaning that even those quieter individuals were able to share their thoughts and get involved. I have had several very positive pieces of feedback since the talk, including: that the talk helped people to better understand burnout, that the concepts shared were memorable and that they were delivered in a way that helped colleagues to spot key behaviours in themselves and in others that could lead to burnout.
Lastly, this will be the third time that I have organised a talk by Mark since initially hearing him speak myself several years ago. His talks are consistently well-received and well-reviewed, they strike up much need reflection and growth within our teams and the impact of them can be seen long after they have finished. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mark/Strategic Wellbeing Ltd to those looking to engage and support their colleagues in the area of wellbeing.“
